Ticket Exchange

Stand-Up.co.uk is a trading name of Contact25 Ltd, registered in England, No: 5042182. VAT Registration No: 984 3445 86.

1. Introduction

Stand-up.co.uk ("we", "us", "our") provides an online ticketing platform for comedy events, acting as an agent for event organisers, venues, and promoters ("Event Partners"). We facilitate ticket sales and ticket transfers but do not organise or manage events ourselves.

Our Ticket Exchange allows ticket holders to transfer their tickets to others in a **safe and secure** manner. The availability of exchanged tickets is not an indication that an event is sold out.

Important: Once exchanged, tickets cannot be refunded except as outlined in Section 7.

2. Ticket Transfers and Resale

Stand-up.co.uk provides a simple way to transfer tickets to another person:

  • Only tickets purchased through stand-up.co.uk can be exchanged using our platform.
  • The original ticket holder is responsible for entering the correct details of the recipient.
  • Resale of tickets for profit is strictly prohibited.
  • Stand-up.co.uk reserves the right to cancel transferred tickets if fraud or unauthorised resale is detected.

3. Legally Binding Contract

By using the Ticket Exchange, you agree to:

  • Transfer tickets only to people you know and trust.
  • Not sell tickets for more than their original price.
  • Follow the terms and conditions of the Event Partner and venue.

Stand-up.co.uk is **not responsible** for any disputes between the original ticket holder and the recipient after a transfer has been completed.

4. Ticket Exchange Fees

There are **no additional fees** for transferring a ticket to another person.

If a new recipient is required to pay a service fee, this will be clearly displayed before they accept the transfer.

5. Delivery of Exchanged Tickets

  • Transferred tickets are issued electronically to the new recipient’s registered email address.
  • Once a ticket is transferred, the original barcode becomes invalid, and the new ticket must be used for entry.
  • The recipient is responsible for ensuring they have access to their ticket before the event.

6. Event Admission & Ticket Use

  • Transferring a ticket does not guarantee entry – all attendees must comply with the venue’s terms.
  • Stand-up.co.uk and the Event Partner reserve the right to void any ticket if fraud is suspected.

7. Event Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

  • If an event is **cancelled**, all ticket holders, including transferred tickets, will be eligible for a refund.
  • If an event is **rescheduled**, exchanged tickets will remain valid for the new date.
  • Once a ticket is exchanged, it **cannot** be refunded unless the event itself is cancelled.

8. Liability

  • Stand-up.co.uk is **not responsible** for personal injury, loss, or damage at events.
  • We are **not liable** for ticket disputes between private parties.
  • We act as a **facilitator only** and do not control event operations.

9. Customer Support

  • If you experience an issue with a ticket transfer, please contact our support team.
  • We aim to respond to all inquiries within 5 business days.

10. Governing Law

This Ticket Exchange Policy is governed by **English law**. Any disputes will be handled by the **English courts**.
