Stand-Up.co.uk is a trading name of Contact25 Ltd, registered in England, No: 5042182. VAT Registration No: 984 3445 86.

1. Introduction

Stand-up.co.uk ("we", "us", "our") operates an online ticketing platform for stand-up.co.uk events.

We act as an agent on behalf of event organisers, promoters, venues, and comedians ("Event Partners"). We are not responsible for organising or delivering the events themselves.

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as set out in Sections 7 and 9.

2. Your Account and Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets.
• All account details must be accurate and up-to-date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• We reserve the right to cancel accounts involved in fraudulent activity or multiple registrations.

3. Legally Binding Contract

By purchasing tickets from stand-up.co.uk, you agree to:

4. Prices, Payment, and VAT

Ticket prices are set by Event Partners and may or may not include VAT, depending on their VAT registration status:

• If the Event Partner is VAT-registered, ticket prices include VAT.
• If the Event Partner is not VAT-registered, the base ticket price does not include VAT, but our service fee does.

Prices may include:

• Base ticket price
• Stand-up.co.uk service fee (includes VAT)
• Handling or delivery charges (if applicable)

Payments must be made using a valid debit/credit card or an approved payment method.

5. Ticket Delivery

Tickets will be delivered via:

• E-ticket (PDF or QR code) – available in your account.
• Mobile ticketing – scanned from your phone at the venue.
• Physical tickets – posted if applicable.

We are not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect email or postal addresses.

6. Event Admission & Ticket Use

• Your ticket grants entry only to the specified event and venue.
• Venues may conduct security checks before entry.
• Duplicate or counterfeit tickets will be cancelled without refund.
• Re-entry policies are at the discretion of the venue.

7. Event Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

• If an event is cancelled, you will be offered a refund or ticket transfer.
• If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will be valid for the new date.
• No refunds for:
  • Change of mind or inability to attend
  • Refusal of entry due to venue restrictions

8. Ticket Restrictions & Resale Policy

• Tickets are for personal use only and cannot be resold for profit.
• Reselling tickets without permission may result in cancellation without refund.
• Some events may have age restrictions (e.g., 18+ shows). Check before purchasing.

9. Liability

• We are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage at events.
• We are not liable for changes to event lineups or start times.
• Our liability is limited to the ticket price paid.

10. Customer Support & Complaints

• For help, contact our customer support team via the website.
• We aim to respond to complaints within 5 business days.

11. Governing Law

This Purchase Policy is governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
